Send new lead notifications straight to a Slack channel.

Connect Slack to get a notification when Satellyte creates new leads from a radar, so your team can act while the signal is still fresh.

Create a Slack app

  1. Open Slack in your browser and sign in to the workspace you want to connect.

  1. After signing in, open the Slack API Apps dashboard and click Create New App.

  1. Choose the option to create the app manually.

  1. Enter an app name, select the Slack workspace, and create the app.

  1. Open the app credentials section and copy these three values:
SLACK_CLIENT_ID SLACK_CLIENT_SECRET SLACK_SIGNING_SECRET

Copy the Slack Client ID, Client Secret, and Signing Secret

Keep the Client Secret and Signing Secret private. Store them securely and do not share them in public channels or repositories.

Connect Slack to Satellyte

  1. In Satellyte, open Settings → Integrations and find Slack.

  1. Click Connect Slack.
  2. Paste the Slack Client ID, Client Secret, and Signing Secret into their matching fields.
  3. Optionally enable Save credentials for future Slack connections.
  4. Click Continue to Slack and complete the workspace authorization.

  1. Select the channel that should receive new lead notifications and save the radar.

What gets sent

When a radar creates new leads, Satellyte posts a short message with the number of new leads and the radar name.

You need permission to add apps to your Slack workspace. If Connect Slack fails, ask a Slack admin to approve the app first.
