Prospeo Review 2026: Search Platform, Per-Seat Credits
Prospeo review 2026: verified per-user pricing from $49/mo. Why the widely quoted $39 Starter and $369 Business tiers do not exist on the live pricing page.
Prospeo is no longer just an email finder. In 2026 it sells a B2B search platform with intent topics, AI lookalikes, personas, and CRM sync, priced per user with credits attached. That repricing matters, because almost every comparison page still describes the old plans. This review works from the live pricing page, verified 29 July 2026, and flags where the widely repeated numbers are wrong.
TL;DR verdict
- Great for: Teams that want search, filtering, and enrichment in one seat rather than an enrichment API bolted onto a list.
- Hesitate if: You are a solo operator or a team where only one person needs the data. Per-seat pricing punishes small headcount with high volume, and rewards the reverse.
- Entry price: Free with 100 credits/mo. Starter $49/mo per user, or $37/mo billed yearly.
- Credit model: Credits roll over. Yearly credits are delivered upfront. Per-action credit costs are not published.
- Watch out: Pricing is per user, so a 3-person team on Growth is $297/mo, not $99.
Correcting the record
Widely cited third-party pages, including ones published as recently as June 2026, list Prospeo as: Free 75 credits, Starter $39 for 1,000 credits, Growth $99 for 5,000, Pro $199 for 20,000, Business $369 for 50,000, and no credit rollover.
Every one of those points is contradicted by the live pricing page. There is no Business tier. The free plan carries 100 credits, not 75. Starter is $49 and carries 2,000 monthly credits. Credits do roll over. And the prices are per user, which none of those summaries mention.
We mention this because Prospeo's pricing page renders client-side, so simple scrapers return an empty page and comparison sites appear to be recycling old figures. Check the source before you budget.
Pricing verified July 2026
Per user, per month:
| Plan | Monthly | Yearly (25% off) | Monthly credits | Yearly credits per user |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | n/a | 100 | n/a |
| Starter | $49 | $37/mo ($441/yr) | 2,000 | 24,000 |
| Growth | $99 | $74/mo ($888/yr) | 5,000 | 60,000 |
| Pro | $249 | $187/mo ($2,241/yr) | 15,000 | 180,000 |
Yearly credits are delivered upfront rather than metered monthly, and unused credits roll over. A yearly credits add-on is available through sales for higher usage.
What separates the tiers is mostly the search product, not the credits:
| Free | Starter | Growth | Pro | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Search filters | 28 | 32 | 38 | All 41 |
| Intent topics | 3 | 6 | 9 | 12 |
| Max row selection | 25 | 20,000 | 20,000 | 20,000 |
| Public API | No | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| CRM integration | No | No | Yes | Yes |
| Job change tracking | No | No | Yes | Yes |
Enrich API rate limits run 5/300/2,000 on Starter, 5/300/5,000 on Growth, and 30/1,800/500,000 on Pro. If you plan to drive Prospeo programmatically at volume, Pro is the only tier with headroom.
How the credits actually work
Here is the honest limitation of this review: Prospeo does not publish a per-action credit table on its pricing page. There is no public statement of how many credits a verified email costs against a mobile number.
Third-party pages commonly claim 1 credit per email and 10 per mobile. That is plausible and matches category norms, but it sits on the same sources that got every plan price wrong, so we are not going to assert it. Confirm it in-product on the free plan before committing, especially if mobile numbers are a large part of your usage.
What is verified: credits roll over, yearly allocations arrive upfront, and the credit pool is per user rather than pooled across the workspace.
What works
- Search is the actual product. 41 filters, intent topics, AI search, lookalikes, and personas make this a prospecting platform, not a lookup API.
- Credits roll over. Unused allocation is not lost at month end, and annual buyers get the whole year upfront.
- Generous free tier. 100 credits a month with 28 filters is enough to evaluate the search experience properly.
- CRM depth at Growth. HubSpot and Salesforce sync, CRM enrichment, deduplication, health scan, and job change tracking.
- MCP server and public API. Available from Starter up, which suits agent-driven workflows.
Limitations
- Per-seat pricing is the whole story. Three people on Growth costs $297/mo. On a pooled-credit tool like LeadMagic, three people share one plan. Model your seat count first.
- Credit costs per action are unpublished. You cannot budget precisely from the pricing page, which is a real gap for a credit-metered product.
- Row selection caps at 20,000. Fine for most work, a constraint for large exports.
- API rate limits are tight below Pro. Starter allows 2,000 enrich calls in the largest window shown; heavy automation needs Pro.
- Comparison content about it is unreliable. Not Prospeo's fault exactly, but it means you have to verify everything yourself.
Who should look elsewhere
- Solo operators and small teams with high volume. LeadMagic pools credits across the team and starts at 24,000 credits for $49.99/mo.
- Cheapest possible email finding. Icypeas at $19/mo for 1,000 credits, though it has no phone data.
- Highest hit rate via waterfall. FullEnrich queries 25+ sources and charges only on success.
- Deliverability guarantees. Findymail commits to a bounce ceiling.
The category view is in best email enrichment tools for B2B.
Where enrichment stops
Prospeo's intent topics move it closer to timing than a pure enrichment tool, but the underlying question is still "who matches my filters" rather than "who moved this week".
Satellyte works the other way round: it watches 100+ public web sources per vertical for six discrete signal types, funding rounds, hiring spikes, tech stack changes, news events, technology lists, and social engagement on LinkedIn, X, and Threads, and surfaces the accounts where something just changed. Outreach referencing a concrete signal lands 15-25% reply rates per Autobound's aggregation of Lemlist, Instantly, and Belkins data, against a 3.43% cold average in the Instantly 2026 benchmark.
FAQ
How much does Prospeo cost? Free with 100 credits a month, Starter $49/mo per user with 2,000 credits, Growth $99/mo per user with 5,000, and Pro $249/mo per user with 15,000. Yearly billing saves 25%. Verified 29 July 2026.
Why do other sites say Prospeo starts at $39? Because they are quoting a retired structure and its pricing page renders client-side, so scrapers return nothing. There is no $39 Starter and no $369 Business tier on the live page.
Is Prospeo pricing per user or per workspace? Per user. Credits are quoted per user per year, so cost scales with seats. This is the single biggest difference from most enrichment tools and the thing most comparisons miss.
Do Prospeo credits roll over? Yes. Unused credits roll over, and annual plans deliver the full yearly credit allocation upfront. Third-party pages claiming credits reset monthly are out of date.
How many credits does a mobile number cost? Prospeo does not publish a per-action credit table. Test it on the free plan before committing if phone data is a significant part of your usage.
Is Prospeo an email finder or a sales intelligence platform? In 2026 it is closer to the latter. Search filters, intent topics, personas, lookalikes, and CRM sync are the tiering axis; credits come along with the seat.
