Icypeas Review 2026: The Pay-Per-Success Underdog

Icypeas is a Paris-based email finder that most US prospecting guides skip. It is the cheapest entry point of the mainstream enrichment tools at $19/mo for 1,000 credits, it only charges for emails it verifies as deliverable, and its credits never expire. It also does not find phone numbers at all yet, which rules it out for a lot of teams. Pricing verified 29 July 2026.

Two things to note. First, prices are quoted plus VAT, which is unusual in a category where US vendors quote VAT-inclusive or VAT-free. Budget accordingly if you are in the EU. Second, the per-credit column above is our own arithmetic, price divided by credits. Icypeas advertises $0.00887 on Premium and $0.0076 on Advanced, which is lower than list price divided by credit allowance. Its Basic and Hypergrowth figures do match. Use the plan price and credit count as the reliable numbers.

How the credits actually work

Verification at 0.1 credits is the standout number. If you already have a list from elsewhere and just need it cleaned, Icypeas is one of the cheapest ways to do it: 1,000 verifications costs 100 credits, or about $1.90 on the Basic plan.

Credits roll over and, per Icypeas, never expire. That makes the small plans genuinely usable for spiky work in a way that monthly-reset plans are not.

What works

1. Cheapest credible entry price. $19 for 1,000 verified emails is the lowest real floor among the mainstream tools here.
2. Credits never expire. Buy a small plan, accumulate, spend it when a campaign actually needs it.
3. Catch-all verification. Icypeas verifies catch-all domains, which is the failure mode that produces most surprise bounces.
4. Cheap verification. At 0.1 credits per check it is a sensible cleanup layer even if you find contacts elsewhere.
5. EU footing. A French company billing in EUR with GDPR framing suits EU buyers who care where data is processed.

Limitations

1. No phone numbers. Phone Finder has been listed as coming soon rather than shipped. If mobile data matters, this tool cannot be your main one today.
2. Prices exclude VAT. The real cost to an EU buyer is above the listed number.
3. Its own per-email maths do not reconcile. The advertised rates on Premium and Advanced are lower than price divided by credits. Not a scandal, but a reason to check your invoice rather than the marketing.
4. Thin independent review footprint. We did not find substantial G2, Capterra, or Trustpilot presence, so there is less third-party evidence than for larger tools. Weight your own trial accordingly.
5. Discovery rate is the open question. Icypeas publishes strong accuracy figures, but they are vendor-published and we have not independently tested them. Run a few hundred contacts through before committing to Advanced or Hypergrowth.

A note on the competitor price table Icypeas publishes on its own pricing page: it lists cost per 1,000 found emails for ten rivals. Its FullEnrich figure does not match FullEnrich's live pricing, so treat the whole table as marketing rather than a benchmark.

Who should look elsewhere

• You need phone numbers. FullEnrich at 10 credits per mobile, or LeadMagic at 5 credits per mobile.
• You want the highest hit rate. A waterfall across many vendors will beat a single source. FullEnrich is the hosted version of that.
• You want a bounce guarantee. Findymail commits to a bounce ceiling and refunds credits if it misses.
• You want search plus enrichment. Prospeo sells a search product with intent filters alongside its credits.

Where enrichment stops

Icypeas answers "what is this person's email". It does not tell you which people are worth emailing this week, and cheap credits spent on badly timed outreach are still wasted.
