Satellyte vs HockeyStack 2026: Outbound Signals vs Attribution
Satellyte or HockeyStack in 2026? Outbound timing signals vs multi-touch B2B attribution. Two different jobs that rarely compete.
This is an unusual matchup. Satellyte and HockeyStack are rarely evaluated head-to-head because they live in different budget lines and solve different problems. When they do show up together, it is because a RevOps lead is trying to figure out which one to buy first.
Different problems, different tools
HockeyStack is a B2B attribution and revenue analytics platform. It pulls data from ad platforms, CRM, site analytics, and marketing automation to show which campaigns, channels, and touches actually contribute to pipeline and revenue. Its buyer is a RevOps or growth lead trying to justify marketing spend.
Satellyte is a signal layer for outbound. Its buyer is a sales lead or SDR manager trying to answer: which accounts should we reach out to this week.
These are orthogonal problems. Attribution asks what drove this closed deal. Signals ask which accounts are worth approaching now. One is rear-view, one is forward-view.
Where each one earns its seat
HockeyStack earns its seat for:
- Marketing teams with meaningful paid ad spend ($50K+ per month) who need to optimize channel mix.
- Growth teams running multi-channel experiments.
- Revenue teams who need to show marketing ROI to a CFO.
- Companies with a self-serve or PLG motion where touch attribution is especially hard.
Satellyte earns its seat for:
- Outbound teams (SDRs, AEs, founders) running cold sequences.
- Teams who already know what works but need to find more accounts that fit.
- Revenue teams trying to reduce reliance on stale account lists.
- Mid-market SaaS where event-based triggers (hiring, funding) materially change buyer readiness.
They do not compete for the same seat on the spreadsheet. HockeyStack replaces or augments your analytics stack. Satellyte replaces or augments your account targeting stack.
Pricing
HockeyStack is quote-based, typically in the $2,000 to $10,000+ per month range for mid-market deployments, scaling with connected data sources and user seats.
Satellyte is flat workspace pricing.
For a RevOps lead weighing which to buy first with constrained budget, the answer is usually: neither, fix the pipeline first. If pipeline is the bottleneck, Satellyte is the higher-leverage spend because it generates new opportunities. If pipeline is fine but attribution is a mess, HockeyStack is higher leverage.
Stack recommendation
For mature revenue teams, both tools often end up in the stack, doing different jobs:
- Satellyte feeds the top of the outbound funnel.
- HockeyStack measures what happens after prospects enter the funnel across all channels.
For smaller teams, sequence your purchases:
- First, fix the data and targeting problem. Satellyte or a similar signal tool.
- Once volume is meaningful and multi-channel, add attribution. HockeyStack or a similar platform.
Buying attribution before you have the pipeline to measure is a common mistake. The dashboards look great and tell you nothing useful.
Caveats
- HockeyStack integration work is non-trivial. Plan for 4 to 8 weeks to get clean data flowing, and a dedicated owner after that.
- Satellyte signal tuning also takes weeks. Expect noise in the first pass.
- Neither tool replaces a good ops person. If no one owns the dashboards or the signal queue, neither investment will pay back.
Attribution and outbound signals are both real problems with real tools. The mistake is treating them as competing line items. They are not.
