Play: AEs multi-threading accounts before they go quiet
How AEs spot accounts where two or more buyers are engaging inside 14 days, and multi-thread before the conversation cools.
The signal
Two or more people from the same target account engaged with your content, profile, or product inside 14 days. Often a champion plus a budget holder.
Satellyte clusters engagement at the account level (not just the contact level) so you see the whole buying committee forming, not isolated likes.
What it means
There is a real internal conversation happening. The deal is forming whether you join or not. AEs who multi-thread inside the 14-day window enter the conversation as a participant. The ones who wait enter as a vendor.
The play
1. Name the thread, do not start it
Reference the two people who already engaged when you reach a third. "Saw [Champion] and [Manager] engaging with [topic] last week" is a pattern interrupt that earns a reply.
2. Reach the seat that resolves the deal, not the loudest one
The loudest reactor is rarely the buyer. Use Satellyte's title and seniority filters to find the budget holder inside the same account.
3. Send the asset they cannot get internally
A price benchmark, a teardown, a peer reference. Champions love bringing this kind of artifact into the next internal meeting.
Sample first message
Noticed [Champion] and [Manager] both engaging on [topic] in the last 10 days, looks like there is something forming on your side. Quick question for you specifically as the [function] lead: are you evaluating in the next quarter or further out? Either way, happy to share what other [stage] teams shortlisted. When to skip this play
If the two engaged contacts are both ICs (no manager seniority), the budget conversation is not yet in motion. Wait for a director or VP to engage before you multi-thread.
Where to go next
Pair with Buyer Intent (lurkers): repeat profile views from a third committee member often confirms the deal is real.
